ASER Centre, in collaboration with the Department of Rural Development at the Indian Institute of Professional Studies (IIPS), conducted a two-day capacity-building workshop in September 2025, with 20 participants. The workshop introduced basic concepts of data and its role in research and policy, covering types of data, disaggregated data, and statistical concepts such as variables, mean, standard deviation, and sampling. Sessions were supported by interactive activities and practical exercises.
