In July 2025, the Educate Girls Uttar Pradesh team approached ASER Centre to organise a capacity-building workshop for their staff. Following initial discussions and a needs assessment indicated that diverse expectations exist around data understanding, Excel skills, and report writing. A three-day online workshop was organised on the Data Understanding module, with three hours of engagement each day, conducted in the afternoon. More than 55 participants from the district, block, and state-level teams of Educate Girls attended the sessions. The overall aim was to strengthen the team’s ability to understand and use data effectively for planning, monitoring, and decision-making in their programme activities.
