Course on survey methodology for Goa Institute of Management (GIM)
The Goa Institute of Management approached ASER Centre to organize a capacity-building course as part of their social immersion programme. The course aimed to equip MBA graduates with a comprehensive skill set covering survey implementation, data collection, analysis, and report writing, while also providing exposure to rural settings. The training focused on the fundamental ASER survey process, addressing key inquiries regarding enrollment status and learning levels among children aged 5-16 in rural areas. This training was conducted in person for approximately 25 MBA students, who carried out surveys in four villages in Goa. Following this, an online session was conducted to train participants on data analysis and effective presentation of key insights in a report format.
