Prabhakar Kumar is from Bihar and has been working at ASER since 2008. He has worked in Bihar & Jharkhand. He is currently enrolled in M.A.in Education. He likes to write short write-up & poems.

Sambamurthy is working in Pratham Education Foundation for last 10 years. He comes from a agricultural family and has completed graduation. He likes to travel, visit historical places and temples. As part of ASER Survey, he has been able to understand different situations in rural areas in his state. He feels grateful for this opportunity.

Rohit Kumar is a part of the ASER team in Himachal Pradesh. His primary focus is on ensuring the smooth implementation of the ASER survey plan for the state, networking with various stakeholders, and other administrative activities. Before joining ASER, he was working with Pratham in various positions including as a volunteer in Aadhar programme and Inside Pre-primary study. Rohit Kumar has been working in the Non profit sector for the last 13 years. His core strengths include survey planning and management, volunteer’s mobilization, training and dissemination at different levels. Rohit Kumar has a degree of graduation and B.Ed diploma from Jammu & Kashmir University. He has completed a Survey and Research Coordinators course from TISS.

Rokoselie graduated with a degree in Economics from Kohima College and later completed a Business Diploma at the Global Management College of Australia, Yangon Campus. Before joining ASER, he worked as a trainer and assessor at the Global Management College of Australia, Yangon Campus. Additionally, he gained experience as a field coordinator at YARD and the CRISIL Foundation, where his responsibilities included conducting research, surveys, and trainings. Rokoselie has a keen interest in traveling to remote areas, as well as engaging in education and social work activities—passions that ultimately led to joining ASER. In free time, he enjoys spending time on a farm or participating in student union and church activities.

Roopashree did her post graduation in Social Work from University of Mysore, Karnataka. Currently, she is working as an ASER Associate in Pratham Education Foundation. She loves to travel, listen to music and loves to meet new people.

Sandeep has completed his graduation and Diploma in Education from Haryana. He his highly dedicated towards the new learnings of education through various aspects. He also likes to engage with children. He is passionate for traveling, exploring, and learning.

Saneet has a postgraduation in Hindi Literature along with a B.Ed. He has over 10+ years of experience working in education and conducting large-scale surveys. He is a travel enthusiast and has been fortunate enough to travel through India to understand the educational system and children and their needs. In his spare time, he writes poems about his experiences.

Santosh Kumar belongs to a district from Patna. His hobbies are swimming and playing cricket. He has completed his graduation from Magadh University and postgraduation in Rural Studies from Patna University. He started his career as a community teacher in Patna with slum children. He has been working at Pratham for the last 21 years. Over this period, he has been associated with the various programs run by Pratham and research conducted by ASER Centre. Currently, he is working at ASER Centre and is the Research Manager in Jharkhand.

Satyabrata has been working in the non-profit sector since 2007 and has successfully completed 15 years. He is a Graduate and has expertise in three (3) regional languages Bengali, Assamese and Manipuri apart from national languages. He is well experienced to work with rural communities in different parts of North Eastern States and other main lands of India. He loves pets and is fond of gardening and traveling.

Shabir Bhat is working as an ASER Associate in Jammu and Kashmir. He has completed his graduation and a diploma in Computer Applications. He has worked as a Quality Head in different skill development projects of the Governemnt of India for 7 years. He has been working at ASER Centre from 2008. In his free time, he loves taveling and helping others.

Shrikant has studied MSW from Savitribai Phule Pune University. He has previously worked with CSRD Institute of Social Work and Research, Ahmednagar as a Field Instructor and Hostel Superintendent. He delegated and participated in the National Conference on Social Work Diversity: A Catalyst for Change conducted by Central University of Karnataka and has also worked on a study on educational status of NT/DNT communities in Maharashtra which was conducted in 5 districts across Maharashtra in 2023. He believes in spirituality and likes reading and travelling.

Shyam Kolare has been working in ASER Madhya Pradesh for 10+ years. He has a Master’s in Sociology and Social Work and a Diploma in Rural Development. He feels reading and writing while traveling and in free time is the best way to use your time. While working with ASER, he has travelled to various states of India, exploring their lifestyle, culture, and history is his favourite part of the job. After work, he likes to spend time with his family and friends.

Snehalata has been working in the social and educational sector for the last 16 years. She has a Masters in Social Work and Economics. She likes to read, travel, and spend time with children.

Sujeet Kumar completed his graduation in Philosophy from Patna University. He has been associated with Pratham for the last 20 years. In this period, he has worked in various roles in Pratham and ASER Centre. His expertise is survey implementation, assessment, training, data collection, program implementation, and team management. His hobbies are playing cricket and photography. He also enjoys traveling to hill stations.

Suraj has been associated with the Pratham Education Foundation since 2008. He completed his graduation in Commerce and also a certificate course for survey and research coordinators. He loves exploring and finds solace in the diversity of culture and cuisine he finds in his ASER related travels.
