H-Learning Impact Evaluation, Dausa

The Hybrid Learning (H-Learning) programme was a tablet-based group learning initiative designed to improve children’s learning outcomes in English, Mathematics, and Science through digital content and peer learning. It was a two-year impact evaluation study in four locations of Rajasthan—Rajgarh, Sikrai, Bassi, and Dausa. The study examined the effectiveness of different intervention models, including print-based learning, digital learning, and a combination of community- and school-based support.

The evaluation covered 294 villages across the four study locations and tracked a sample of 5,540 children enrolled in Grades 5 to 8.

Findings indicated improvements in learning levels across all locations, with the strongest gains generally observed in Bassi, where children received digital and print interventions at the community level.
